Mud Volleyball Tournament

                 

                                  
Do to the potential number of teams and so we don't have to turn teams away, there will be Mud Volleyball Tournaments on Saturday and Sunday.  Start time will be 10:00 am on both days.  Pre-registration is required.  Registrations must be received at Tilton City Hall no later than Thursday July 29th 4pm.  Registrations will not be accepted after Thursday the 29th unless there is an opening in a bracket.  Teams must check brackets on the website on Friday July 30th to see when they play.  Teams will be placed in either Pool A  or Pool B,  Pool A will play Saturday and Pool B will play Sunday.  $40.00 Per team per day.   Send registration forms to: Tilton Rednecks  1001 Tilton Rd.  Tilton, Il. 61833
Payment has to be paid prior to playing but not at the time of registration.


Mud Volleyball Rules:

               1.   Some type of foot protection must be worn.  (It is strongly suggested to wear socks, then wrap feet and lower leg with duct tape, if not wearing shoes)
               2.   Teams may be Co-ed (although not required).  Must play with a total of 6 players in the mud pit. Teams may consist of 2 alternate players.  Each team
                     must identify a Team Captain.
               3.   Players can only play on one team.
               4.   All games will be played to 15 points using Rally Scoring, (points will be awarded on all serves).  Teams must win by two.
               5.   Tournament will consist of Double Elimination play.
               6.   Served balls that touch the net are out of play and the opposing team gets the ball and is awarded a point.
               7.   Any ball hitting the Mud, Net Serve and/or Ball Hitting out of bounds scores a point for the non infracting team
               8.   A ball hitting any part of the water in the pit is a fare ball.
               9.   Subsitutions allowed, Substitute goes to  back row to the left of the server.  Players must rotate clockwise.
               10. The ball can only be contacted 3 times by one team prior to being hit across the net.  No player can hit the ball more than once in succession.
               11. Players may not reach across the net to attack the ball.  The ball can be spiked but hands may not be over the net.
               12. Team to win coin toss can pick to serve or may pick net sides.  Decision to be made by team captain prior to game.
               13. Tournament supervisor may eject any player who displays Unsportsman Like Behavior.  Any player arguing with an official will be asked to leavethe game
                     and immediate vicinity.  Players removed from a game will not be allowed to participate in future games during tournament.
               14. Matches will continue in the rain.  In the event of lightning being sighted, tournament directors reserve the right to suspend or alter matches at their discretion. 

            Judges Decisions Are Final !!!!!!!

Mud Tug O War


$10.00 per team.            5 person teams           Kids Teams - Age 12 and under         Adult Teams - Age 13 and up


Kids teams will play first.

No alcohol will be permitted during play.

Must have some type of foot wear. (No Flip Flops)

If at any time a team member lets go of the rope prior ro red flag crossing line, that team will be disqualified.

Winning team is determined when the red flag crosses the finish line.

Single elimination bracket play.

No gloves or tape allowed, must be bare handed.

Teams cannot anker the rope.  Teams cannot wrap the rope around any member of the team.

Teams must be at pit 15 minutes prior to the event  for briefing.

All Judges Decisions Are Final.
